Making Time for Daily Scripture

A short guide to building a simple, sustainable habit of reading the Bible every day—using the Daily Verse, a fixed time, and a realistic goal.

Start with one verse

You do not need to read for a long time. The Daily Verse on Pro Bible shows one verse each day for the language and version you choose. Pick your translation with the dropdowns (e.g. English / KJV). Everyone using the same translation sees the same verse that day, so you can share it or discuss it with others. Open the page in the morning (or whenever you prefer), read the verse, and take a moment to reflect. That alone can be a meaningful daily habit.

No account or sign-up is required. Just visit the Daily Verse page, choose your language and version, and come back the next day for a new verse.

Pick a time and place

Habits stick better when they are tied to a specific time or trigger. For example: "After I pour my coffee" or "Right before bed." You might open the Daily Verse at the same time each day, or read one chapter from the Read page. Even a few minutes counts. The goal is consistency, not length.

If you use your phone in the morning, add Pro Bible to your home screen or bookmarks so the Daily Verse is one tap away.

Combine Daily Verse with longer reading

Some people use the Daily Verse as a quick focus for the day, then also read a chapter (or more) from a book of the Bible when they have more time. For example: Daily Verse at breakfast, then one chapter from John or Psalms later. Pro Bible lets you move between the Daily Verse page and the Read page easily—no login required.

If you miss a day, do not try to "catch up" by reading extra. Just resume the next day. Steady, small steps are better than occasional marathons.

Keep it simple

You do not need special tools or apps. Pro Bible is free and works in your browser on phone, tablet, or computer. Use the Daily Verse for a single verse, or the Read page for any book and chapter.
